Why don't you back into a slip when it is too short? You'll have to get used to backing up when you get to the Med ;) I have a 4ft by 3ft map of the world on my study wall and your route is marked by litle blue sticky arrows (Egret N46 is in red!) and the enormity of your voyage is apparent. I have just ordered a new N40 and am studying the options list! Would you say A/C is essential out in the tropics? Also, we like your lack of fixed seating on the port side of the saloon.
