  1. Your journey sharing is appreciated. I spent a couple of years traveling through countries and many people could not understand the reason. Many people live in their cubicles and never get anywhere in their lives but do shake their heads when and do not understand that there is so much more to life. I plan on getting started and working very hard when I get older if possible; I am fifty now. I’m a nurse and fine that many people are so closed minded and that is the reason that I like learning new languages, cultures, diets and other life enriching experiences. It really does appear that you chose correctly and so much experience to deal with the rest of the world when it approaches or vice a versa.
The cultural experiences allow me to work as a nurse very well with understanding. It is unfortunate that people are not so open minded. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences as you are well rounded and educated. Love the writing.

I need to go back and read some more of the blog as I wonder whom the other crewmember that traveled with you on the journey as I do believe you mentioned in the Nordhavn interview. Perhaps I am mistaken. You present many appreciable facts that will be remembered. Success in life always.

  2. Thank you so much for the nice comment! It’s nice to hear from people who also love to travel and experience new cultures. Traveling is addictive. Once you start, you just want more and more. Nursing is a great profession for people who love to travel as it is a skill that is useful everywhere. We wish you luck with your future travels.

We had crew members for all three ocean crossings. Two of the three we met through the Nordhavn community, one was a friend from home. We also had several people join us for shorter hops along the way. Most of those people were friends from home, though one was someone we met through the Nordhavn community.

  3. Hi Christi,
I to have been fighting the FTB. I would like to share some insights and documents into how my paralegal and I are approaching these parasites.
Please contact me when you have a chance
