On Saturday we went sightseeing, then went to the grocery store. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_7280-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Pedro Miguel lock<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette semaine \u00e9tait amusante. Samedi on a \u00e9t\u00e9 faire du tourisme, puis nous sommes all\u00e9s au supermarch\u00e9.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_7318-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">construction of tunnel to left, container port in the middle &#8212; just south of the Bridge of the Americas.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sunday we crossed the Panama Canal (see <a href=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/2025\/02\/16\/keiths-perspective-on-the-panama-canal-transit-le-point-de-vue-de-keith-sur-le-transit-du-canal-de-panama\/\">my other post<\/a> for details). On Monday we went on a hike in the jungle with our friends, then we all had breakfast at the marina restaurant. Then we all went to the pool. After that our friends left. After that the craziest thing happened. We went up to the lounge to see if there were any kids there, and some of them were setting up a D&amp;D campaign. Dad volunteered to DM, so I played D&amp;D with them.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/video-of-sunrise-over-kosmos.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dimanche on a travers\u00e9 le Canal De Panama (voir <a href=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/2025\/02\/16\/keiths-perspective-on-the-panama-canal-transit-le-point-de-vue-de-keith-sur-le-transit-du-canal-de-panama\/\">mon autre post<\/a> pour les details). Lundi on s\u2019est promen\u00e9 dans la jungle avec nos amis, puis on a mang\u00e9 le petit d\u00e9jeuner \u00e0 la marina. Apr\u00e8s \u00e7a nous sommes all\u00e9s \u00e0 la piscine. Apr\u00e8s avoir nag\u00e9 pendant un certain temps nos amis sont partis. Ensuite il s\u2019est pass\u00e9 quelque chose de fou. Nous sommes all\u00e9s au lounge pour voir s\u2019il y avait des enfants, et il y avait des enfants qui se pr\u00e9paraient pour jouer \u00e0 donjons et dragons. Papa a dit qu\u2019il pouvait \u00eatre le Maitre Du Donjon, donc j\u2019ai jou\u00e9 \u00e0 donjons et dragons avec eux.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_7688-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Jan and Keith looking at the abandoned housing in Ft. Sherman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuesday school was delayed because mom dropped her phone in the water. Thankfully, the water isn\u2019t that deep here, so mom jumped in the water to try to find her phone. Dad got out the air hose, and mom managed to get her phone. Unfortunately, mom\u2019s phone is dead for good. We did school, then played some more D&amp;D in the afternoon. My character panned out great.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_7693.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Keith and Kim<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mardi l\u2019\u00e9cole \u00e9tait retard\u00e9e parce que le t\u00e9l\u00e9phone de maman est tomb\u00e9 dans l\u2019eau. L\u2019eau dans cette marina n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s profonde, donc maman a saut\u00e9 dans l\u2019eau pour trouver son t\u00e9l\u00e9phone. Papa a sorti le tube d\u2019air pour respirer sous l\u2019eau, et maman l\u2019a trouv\u00e9. Mais le t\u00e9l\u00e9phone de maman ne fonctionne plus. Apr\u00e8s tout \u00e7a on a fait l\u2019\u00e9cole et jou\u00e9 \u00e0 donjons et dragons.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_6673.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">&#8220;The loop&#8221; road to the abandoned housing in Ft. Sherman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Wednesday we went on a walk through the jungle in the morning. Mom wanted to see the howler monkeys, and oh did she get her wish. They sounded like an army of damned souls chasing us! They sounded really creepy, but the monkeys were cute. After that we did school and played some more D&amp;D.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_7674-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Coatis are all around Ft. Sherman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mercredi matin on s\u2019est promen\u00e9 dans le jungle. Maman voulait voir les singes hurleur, et nous les avons vu! Leurs cris ressemblaient \u00e0 une arm\u00e9e de fant\u00f4mes qui nous chassait! C\u2019\u00e9tait tr\u00e8s effrayant, mais les singes \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s mignons. Puis on a fait l\u2019\u00e9cole et on a jou\u00e9 \u00e0 donjons et dragons.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/howler-monkeys-climbing-trees.mov\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Howler monkeys<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thursday we played some D&amp;D and did school.\u00a0Friday we left for San-Diego by plane. We left at about 9:15 am. The ride to the airport was about an hour and a half. We arrived at the airport and waited for a while, then went to Miami. After that we did customs, which were really easy. Then we waited a bit longer. Then we left for San-Diego, which was a five hour plane ride. We arrived really late, and a friend picked us up.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_6848.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Howler monkey mid-scream<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeudi on a jou\u00e9 \u00e0 donjons et dragons et fait l\u2019\u00e9cole.\u00a0Vendredi nous sommes partis pour San Diego en avion. On est parti de la marina vers 9:15. La route pour aller \u00e0\u00a0 l\u2019a\u00e9roport a dur\u00e9 une heure et demie. On est arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9roport et on a attendu pendant des heures, et apr\u00e8s on est all\u00e9 \u00e0 Miami. On a pass\u00e9 la douane, qui \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s facile. Apr\u00e8s la douane on a encore patient\u00e9. Puis on est parti pour San Diego, c\u2019\u00e9tait 5 heures d\u2019avion.
