The day that we\u2019d gotten pizza and gelato<\/a>, we\u2019d stopped by the three bakeries<\/a> to see what they stocked. We\u2019d gotten a loaf of bread from the one called Rume. It turned out to be one of the best sourdoughs we\u2019d ever had. We\u2019d also noticed that they opened at 0730 for breakfast.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the car didn\u2019t have to be returned<\/a> until 0930, that left us just enough time to get breakfast at Rume. The food was great, and we were thrilled to be able to get out of the marina one more time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After returning the car, we proceeded with our normal morning routine of chores and school. In the afternoon, Eric ran another kids D & D session. In the evening, Keith went to the pool with his friends. Eric and Christi went for a walk along the jungle loop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the morning chores is to rinse all the bird poop off the boat. On Friday, shortly after Eric finished rinsing the boat, the marina mowed the lawn again<\/a>. We now realize that the reason Kosmos was so dirty when we\u2019d returned<\/a> from San Diego was from the lawn mowing, not from dirty air. Eric had other things to do and decided he\u2019d rinse the boat down a little later. And then the water went out. Another municipal pipe had broken<\/a>. This pipe brought water from Lake Gatun to some of the water districts, so at least this time, the majority of the city had water. We were assured that since this pipe was under the purview of the Canal Authority and not the City of Colon, the repairs would be done quicker than last time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had the bottom cleaned again<\/a>. In the warm water of the Caribbean, the bottom needs to be cleaned once a week. While only two weeks had passed since the last cleaning, it was really bad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, Eric ran another kids D & D session. Afterwards, Keith went to the pool with his friends and Christi joined them. In the evening, Eric and Keith played Civilization online with the Ocean Posse group. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
