This week has been fun. We were at sea on Saturday and Sunday and nothing much happened. Dad was sick, and so was I. We arrived in the Bahamas on Monday, and we stopped at a place called Matthew Town for a few minutes to check into the country. After that we left Matthew Town on Great Inagua, and went to another island, Long Island, which took a day.\u00a0The bay was named Little Harbor and we met a nice family there. We went to the beach with them.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette semaine \u00e9tait amusante. On \u00e9tait en mer samedi et dimanche, donc il ne s\u2019est pas pass\u00e9 beaucoup de choses. Nous sommes arriv\u00e9s sans les Bahamas lundi, et nous nous sommes arr\u00eat\u00e9s dans un village qui s\u2019appelle Matthew Town pour s\u2019enregistrer dans le pays. Apr\u00e8s \u00e7a on est parti de Matthew Town de Great Inagua, et nous sommes all\u00e9s sur une autre \u00eele, Long Island. Le voyage a dur\u00e9 toute la journ\u00e9e.\u00a0La bay s\u2019appelle Little Harbor, et nous y avons rencontr\u00e9 une famille. On est all\u00e9 \u00e0 la plage avec eux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, we departed for another bay named Calabash, which had a resort on it. However, we had a stabilizer failure. That delayed us slightly, but we still went to sea. The ride was fine. When we got to the next bay, we just lazed around for the rest of the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mercredi nous sommes all\u00e9s \u00e0 une autre ile avec un resort dessus. Mais nous avons eu un probl\u00e8me de stabilisateur. \u00c7a nous a retard\u00e9, mais nous avons quand m\u00eame navigu\u00e9. Le voyage \u00e9tait ok. Quand nous sommes arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 la bay on est juste rest\u00e9 pour le reste de la journ\u00e9e. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday, we decided to eat at a restaurant. We had to reserve it. It was at the other end of this really shallow estuary. The dinghy got stuck a few times, but we managed to get there. We were late, but it was fine since these other people stole our spot. Mom and Dad\u2019s food was good, but mine was bland.\u00a0On the way back to the boat, we stopped at the resort and ended up eating a dinner there because I was still hungry. When we left, there was a massive tornado of mosquitos chasing us. I got at least 20 bites.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeudi on a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de manger \u00e0 un restaurant. Il fallait r\u00e9server. Le restaurant \u00e9tait sur l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 d\u2019un estuaire qui n\u2019\u00e9tait pas tr\u00e8s profond. Le canot a \u00e9t\u00e9 coinc\u00e9 deux ou trois fois, mais nou sommes arriv\u00e9s au restaurant. On \u00e9tait en retard, Mais c\u2019\u00e9tait ok parce que d\u2019autres personnes avaient vol\u00e9 notre reservation. La nourriture de maman et papa etait bonne, mais ma nourriture \u00e9tait sans go\u00fbt.\u00a0Sur le chemin du retour on s\u2019est arr\u00eat\u00e9 au restaurant du resort et j\u2019ai mang\u00e9 un autre d\u00eener parce que j\u2019avais encore faim. Quand nous sommes partis, il y avait une tornade de moustiques qui nous poursuivait. J\u2019ai au moins 20 piq\u00fbres.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, we left for George Town, which is where all the boaters congregate. It was a short, calm ride. When we got there, we just lazed around for the rest of the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
