On Sunday, April 13, the full moon set at the same time the sun rose. Here was the moon setting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the sun rising, though it was mostly blocked by the cloud. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last couple of days were mellow. On Friday, we did chores around the boat all day. Eric managed to get a hold of ARCO<\/a>. They want Eric to check how the Zeus was configured during installation and get back to them. Eric passed the message on to the company who installed the system. We’re waiting to hear back from the installer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the evening, we went to town with the other three families <\/a>for dinner. We again hitched a ride with Haste Away. While the adults tried to decide on where to go, the children played on the sound mounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We chose a place called Sammy\u2019s, which was a few blocks inland. The town was cute. Here were some of buildings we passed along way,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The food was good, the portions were big, and the prices reasonable — not as inexpensive as Cat Harbor, but certainly not George Town prices! One of the kids had brought a ball along, and after dinner, the children played basketball for a little while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday (Saturday) was a quiet day. We laid low onboard and never went to shore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This morning, the wind finally changed to a direction where it would be comfortable to anchor closer to town. At 1100, we pulled up anchor and made the short trek across the sound. While the west side had a deep sand bottom, the east side had shallow sand with hard pack underneath. It took a couple of tries to get the anchor to set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We dinghied into the municipal dock to go out to lunch. Eric was worried about the anchor holding, so we had lunch at Wild Orchids<\/a> where we could keep an eye on the boat. We couldn’t see Kosmos from where we were seated, but Eric walked out to their dock several times to make sure that she wasn’t dragging. There were a lot of birds at the dock!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
