Yesterday, we were so fixated on all the turtles at the mouth of the northern anchorage that we didn&#8217;t take one of the mouth itself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_7534.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>We again saw several turtles at the mouth and a couple of turtles in the saltwater rivers. When we arrived at the ocean, the tide was going in, so it was sucking people from the ocean into the salt river. Just as the sandbar had stopped people from getting sucked out too far into the ocean, a sandbar stopped people from getting too deep into the river. Here is a video Christi took from the sandbar of some people floating in. At the end of this clip, she&#8217;d hopped in, but the rest of the video of her riding the current in didn&#8217;t come out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/the-washing-machine-shroud-cay-exumas.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here was Eric floating down. Keith swam out to intercept Eric. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Eric-and-keith-n-washing-machine-shoud-cay.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While it was fun both directions, we all agreed it was more fun to ride out into the ocean than into the river, especially when jumping off the rock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_7546.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here we were in the river, on our way back to Kosmos<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_7557.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the evening, one of the boats invited the children over for a movie night.
