On Saturday, we didn\u2019t do much, we drove around in the dinghy. On Sunday, we didn\u2019t do anything.\u00a0On Monday morning, we went to the city of Nassau. The drive there was scary. There were a bunch of people who didn\u2019t follow any of the boating rules. We stayed at a resort\/waterpark called Atlantis with a little marina. The rest of Monday was at the water park.\u00a0We spent Tuesday and Wednesday going to the water park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5924.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Resort&#8217;s lobby<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette semaine \u00e9tait amusante. Samedi on n\u2019a pas fait beaucoup de choses, on s\u2019est promen\u00e9 en radeau. Dimanche on n\u2019a rien fait.\u00a0Lundi matin nous nous sommes d\u00e9plac\u00e9s \u00e0 la ville de Nassau. La route \u00e9tait effrayante. Il y avait beaucoup de personnes qui ne respectaient pas toutes les r\u00e8gles de conduite de bateau. On est rest\u00e9 au resort \/ parc aquatique qui s\u2019appelle Atlantis, qui avait une petite marina. Le reste du Lundi on a jou\u00e9 au parc aquatique.\u00a0Mardi et Mercredi on a jou\u00e9 au parc aquatique. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5818.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Fountain at the entrance to the waterpark<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>It was really big, so had to walk a lot. We also had to climb a bunch of stairs to get to the waterslides. There were many aquariums and restaurants at Atlantis. The food was pretty good and really expensive. We went to a Mexicanish restaurant, but they didn\u2019t have burritos.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6030.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019\u00e9tait tr\u00e8s grand, donc on devait beaucoup marcher. On devait monter beaucoup d\u2019escaliers pour acc\u00e9der aux toboggans aquatiques.<span style=\"caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: -webkit-standard; font-size: medium; white-space: normal;\">\u00a0<\/span>Il y avait beacoup d\u2019aquariums et de restaurants dans Atlantis. Le a nourriture \u00e9tait plut\u00f4t bonne, mais tr\u00e8s ch\u00e8re. Nous avons mang\u00e9 \u00e0 un restaurant Mexican, mais il n\u2019y avait pas de burritos.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6029-shark-tank.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There were a bunch of rides I will be rating from a scale of 1 to 10.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5701.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Beginning of the Rapid River<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rapid River was a classical lazy river for the first half, except for a giant wave that came occasionally. The second half consisted of rapids with calm parts in between. 9.3&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5718-keith-in-rapid-river-atlantis.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jungle Slide was really slow and boring and was meant for small children. 2.4&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Leap Of Faith was a super high drop. It only lasted about five seconds, and when I went on it, popped a zit on my nose. 5.7&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Challenger was where two people raced to see who goes down the slide the quickest. Dad and I did it six times. 7.0&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5951.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a ride called the Serpent Slide. It was really cool; you went down a twisty slide in a raft then it let out in a tube that went through one of the shark aquariums. 7.8&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5848-inside-the-serpent-slide-atlantis.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Drop and Fall slides were on the second level of the Power Tower. I\u2019m not sure which was which, but I liked one more than the other. 5.8 and 7.6\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5746.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Waiting in line for either Drop or Fall (we were never clear on which one was which)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Surge Slide was on top of the Power Tower. It usually had a really long line. It was really cool, but it\u2019s not worth the wait. 6.5&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5950-going-down-surge-slide-at-atlantis.mov\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Surge Slide had two parts &#8211; it went really fast, almost stopped, then went fast again. We&#8217;d thought the ride was over when it stopped and were really surprised when it picked up again. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Abyss is the other slide on top of the Power Tower. It was like a mini Leap Of Faith. 5.5&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5598-keith-at-end-of-abyss-ride-atlantis.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Il y avait beaucoup d\u2019attractions que je vais noter sur une \u00e9chelle de 1 \u00e0 10.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Rapid River est une rivi\u00e8re calme traditionnelle pour la premi\u00e8re partie, sauf qu\u2019il y avait une g\u00e9ante vague qui passait. La deuxi\u00e8me partie c\u2019\u00e9tait des rapides avec des parties calmes. 9.3&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5717.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Jungle Slide \u00e9tait lent et ennuyant. C\u2019\u00e9tait pour des petits enfants. 2.4&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Leap Of Faith \u00e9tait une tr\u00e8s grande descente. Il durait 5 secondes, et quand je l\u2019ai fait, il m\u2019a perc\u00e9 un bouton sur le nez. 5.7&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Challenger c\u2019\u00e9tait une course entre deux personnes pour voir qui \u00e9tait le plus rapide. Papa et moi on l\u2019a fait 6 fois. 7.0&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/keith-winning-challenger-race-4.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Serpent Slide \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s cool; tu descendais un toboggan qui serpente dans un radeau qui te propulse dans un tube qui traverse un aquarium avec des requins dedans. 7.8&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les Drop and Fall slides \u00e9tait sur le deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9tage de la Power Tower. Je ne sais pas lequel est lequel, mais j\u2019en ai aim\u00e9 un plus que l\u2019autre. 5.8 et 7.6&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Surge Slide \u00e9tait en haut de la Power Tower. Normalement il y avait une tr\u00e8s longue ligne. C\u2019\u00e9tait tr\u00e8s cool, mais \u00e7a ne vallait pas l\u2019attente. 6.5&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5752-2-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">There was a point where the ride slowed down and movement almost stopped. Keith got impatient and started walking. But then, as documented in the video above, the ride sped up again. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Abyss \u00e9tait sur l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la Power Tower. C\u2019\u00e9tait comme un petit Leap Of Faith. 5.5&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_5595-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thursday, we went to a different marina in Nassau. Mom and I got really sick on the ride over. We also got fuel for the boat, which made Mom and me even sicker. After getting settled, we ate at the marina restaurant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6201.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeudi on est all\u00e9 \u00e0 une marina diff\u00e9rente \u00e0 Nassau. Maman et moi \u00e9tions tr\u00e8s malade sur la route. On a aussi achet\u00e9 de l\u2019essence pour le bateau, ce qui nous a rendu encore plus malade. Apr\u00e8s nous \u00eatre install\u00e9, on a mang\u00e9 au restaurant de la marina.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6207.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday, we rented a car. First we went to an auto parts store and got oil for the boat. Next we went to a Swiss bakery where we got pastries. Finally we went to a grocery store and got groceries. The rest of the day Dad and I worked on boat chores, which was really boring.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6210.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Palm Cay Marina didn&#8217;t have floating docks, which made getting on and off the boat a little bit challenging.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Vendredi on a lou\u00e9 une voiture. En premier on est all\u00e9 au magasin de pieces d\u00e9tach\u00e9es et achet\u00e9 de l\u2019huile pour le bateau. Apr\u00e8s \u00e7a nous sommes all\u00e9s \u00e0 la p\u00e2tisserie Suisse o\u00f9 on a achet\u00e9 des p\u00e2tisseries. Finalement on a fait les courses. Le reste de la journ\u00e9e papa et moi avons fait des r\u00e9parations sur le bateau, c\u2019\u00e9tait tr\u00e8s ennuyant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6219.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Notice how much higher Kosmos is compared to the dock in this photo versus the one above. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week has been very fun.
