The 2\/3 moon was bright in the sky even after dawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of morning chores, Eric ran the water maker. As suspected, the water was dirty. We’re probably going to go through a lot of filters here. After we finished schoolwork and chores, we headed back to shore for lunch. We noticed that a Nordhavn 57 had anchored near us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went to a Mexican restaurant called Rivales, which was a short walk from the French bakery that we’d had breakfast at yesterday<\/a>. The decor felt more like a modern art museum than a traditional Mexican restaurant. The food was good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After lunch, we walked back to the bakery to get pastries for dessert. Once we finished our pastries, we walked several blocks to a grocery store. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Apple Maps, downtown West Palm Beach was an open air art museum. There were murals painted on many buildings, and some signs indicated that the city had paid for the artwork. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The majority of the buildings that we passed looked like they were originally built in the early 20th century. Almost all the buildings were immaculately maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We could be wrong, but we got the sense that a few of the tall buildings had initially been older, lower structures that had been added onto over the years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were some newer buildings, mostly towers, and a few towers under construction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grocery shopping was uneventful. We were happy to be able to purchase our favorite brands at reasonable prices. Most of our favorites weren’t available in the assorted countries we’ve visited over the last six months, and the few that were available, such as Tillamook cheese, were triple the price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City of West Palm Beach has a subsidized ride share service called Ride Circuit. It only cost $2.00 per person to call a car, but it was limited in where it would pick up\/drop off. Fortunately, we were within the parameters. We downloaded the app and ordered a ride. Less than 5-minutes later, a Tesla pulled up. A few minutes later, we were dropped off at the dock. It was nice to not have to schlep the groceries in the heat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After returning to Kosmos and putting the groceries away, Eric went over to the Nordhavn and visited with them for a while. Here was the twilight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last night and again tonight, we noticed that there seemed to be very little boat traffic after dark, making it quite calm at night.
