On Sunday, May 18, we missed the sunrise, but here was an early morning shot of Palm Beach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decided to go for a walk before morning our chores, as it would be too hot by the time we were done. We headed over to the dock<\/a>, and this time walked south along the shoreline. South of the park was a restaurant named Bradley’s. Next to Bradley’s was an amphitheater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not far from the next bridge was a walkway leading out to some tiny islands in the Lake Worth<\/a> estuary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decided to go out to breakfast. The French bakery<\/a> was closed on Sundays, so we went to a coffee house called Carmella’s, located near Nico’s.<\/a> Here was Keith carefully inspecting his breakfast sandwich on a grilled brioche bun. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After we returned, we did chores. While Eric was making water, he noticed that the salinity was high in the water being produced by the water maker. It was still potable, but considering the water in Lake Worth was brackish, the high salt content was concerning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around lunch time, Johnny<\/a> came over with his friend, Steve, for a tour of Kosmos. After the boat tour, Steve departed. Eric, Keith and Johnny had lunch at Bradley’s, then drove to Carvel for dessert. For people unfamiliar with Carvel, it has fantastic soft serve ice cream. Meanwhile, Christi and Joanne<\/a> went shopping and then out to lunch at one of Joanne’s favorite Italian restaurants, called Prezzo.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the late afternoon, Christi, Eric and Keith went to a free concert at the amphitheater with the couple form the Nordhavn 57<\/a> that was anchored near us. A Cars cover band was playing, and Christi and Eric were both big fans of The Cars. Christi and Eric had a great time listening to the music, and we enjoyed getting to know our new friends. However, we wound up leaving early because Keith hated the music and was bored with no children to hang out with. We’re considering trading Keith in for a kid with better taste in music. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
