Johnny and Joanne<\/a> had offered to let us borrow their car, but since there was no place to park it downtown, we’d declined. However, at Havn there was parking, so we took them up on the car. In the morning, Eric went to Johnny\u2019s house to pick up the car. After he returned, he used the marina pump out on our blackwater tanks. Much to his dismay, it wasn’t working. Sigh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, Eric went on a boat ride with Johnny and Steve <\/a>on Steve’s boat. Steve picked Eric up from the end of the dock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They cruised up the ICW for a ways, went out the Jupiter Inlet, then followed the shore down to the Lake Worth Inlet and then to Steve’s marina, which was south of Peanut Island. We had an appointment to have Kosmos hauled out at Seminole Boatyard on June 2, which was a little farther north on the ICW, and Eric was happy to be able to check out the area so he knew what to expect. In the map below, Havn marina is marked with a small black dot above the m near the bottom and the arrows point to the inlets. The blue dot comes into the story later, but it is helpful as a marker showing where the ICW splits off from Lake Worth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When they docked, the boat lift in his slip wasn’t working. So they moved to an emergency slip. When they tied to the pylon, it fell over onto the boat! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They moved to the end of the dock and tied up there. Johnny and Eric left. Steve reported later that he got the boat lift working. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the evening, we went back to the shopping center. This time, we ate at Two Drunken Goats. It had an interesting, eclectic decor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also had a large, eclectic menu with a few unique dishes. We ordered a grilled avocado appetizer. We forgot to take a photo of the menu and now we don’t see it on the menus online, and at this point, we can’t remember exactly what was in it anymore. But it came out hot and smoky tasting, so it was indeed cooked, and it was delicious. The white blob on top was cheese and we believe the sauce was a chipotle aioli. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the food we ordered was really good. Keith said he couldn’t believe that the best Mexican food that he’s had in a long time wasn’t from a Mexican restaurant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the sun was hidden by the building, this was the closest we could get to a sunset photo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
