Rushmore in hopes that visibility may be better. This first picture is at the entrance to the park. If you look at the trees in this morning&#8217;s photo versus the photo taken yesterday evening at the same location, you&#8217;ll get a sense of just how hard it was snowing.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/DSCF3002-Small.jpg\" alt=\"DSCF3002-Small.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Visibility was better. There was still cloud cover and most of the time the faces were completely obscured, but as the clouds moved, you could occasionally catch a glimpse.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/DSCF3004-Small.jpg\" alt=\"DSCF3004-Small.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We got back on the highway and went to Devil&#8217; Tower National Monument in Wyoming, where visibility was <!--more-->similar to Mt. Rushmore. Sometimes we could get a hazy glimpse of it, but most of the time it was obscured by clouds.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_0019-Small.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0019-Small.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We spent the night in a cute little log cabin in Buffalo, Wyoming<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_0140-Small.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0140-Small.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Thursday, May 12 &#8212; Day 20: Buffalo, Wyoming to Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bighorn National Forest, Wyoming<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_0160-Small-2.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0160-Small-2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_0208-Small-2.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0208-Small-2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Buffalo Bill Dam &amp; Water Reservoir, Cody, Wyoming<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_0337-Small.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0337-Small.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_0469-Small.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0469-Small.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_0478-Small.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0478-Small.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_0507-Small.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0507-Small.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We spent the night at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge inside the park.<\/p>\n<p><em>This is Part 15 of the Passage Across America series.
