As soon as we were done with school, we caught a ride share to Trader Joe’s. Due to the one-hour parking limit, last time we’d gone<\/a>, we had only stocked up on what we needed. This time, we went back for passage food<\/a> and “fun” items, such as snacks and desserts. Here was Christi waiting for the ride share<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon returning to Kosmos, we put away the groceries and went back to Kinfolk <\/a>for lunch. Keith ordered chicken and waffles. It was served with regular maple syrup and maple flavored whipped cream. Keith said the chicken and smoked-maple syrup were better at Old Ebbitt,<\/a> but the waffle was better at Kinfolk. And he loved Kinfolk’s maple whipped cream. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We stopped by Ben & Jerry’s and got some pints of ice cream for our upcoming passage. Since it was a lovely day, we sat outside on the cows for a few minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And while we were outside, we got a photo of a pigeon with interesting coloring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the late afternoon, Eric and Keith went to the Stardew Valley Symphony at The Wharf. They were able to buy tickets directly at the box office and save the $14 per person service fee that Ticketmaster charged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stardew Valley was a video game that Eric and Keith played. It had pleasant, but simple music. Hearing the music played in full orchestra was amazing. There was a video display that showed scenes from the game, and there were a few scenes created especially for the concert. For fans of the video game, the concert was very emotional; Keith and Eric teared up a few times.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a colorful twilight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eric snapped a photo of Christi taking sunset photos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We couldn’t believe it was already time to leave. The two weeks had flown by. We wished we could have stayed longer. There was so much more to see and do! There were so many more restaurants to eat at! Someday, we’ll have to make it back to DC to see and do all the things that we missed this time around. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
