On our right, the east side of the street, was surrounded by temporary chain link fencing. There were a lot of tents erected and we could see there was a non-stop flurry of activity as people/vehicles went in and out of the fenced areas. Traffic was backed up with a conga line of vehicles.

Compromise Street ended at an oddly angled intersection. We could see the road to the west that probably paralleled Compromise Street was fenced off. Police seemed to be controlling which cars went in and out.

We crossed over to the north side of the intersection, which appeared to be a cluster of historic buildings. According to Maps, the first one we passed, called The Market, was a restaurant, so we went in. Actually, according to Maps, we’d already passed a few restaurants along the way, but we apparently hadn’t noticed them in and amongst all the activity.

Eric had been craving pizza, so he was happy to see they had pizza – but not today. It sounded like it was the pizza chef’s day off. The food was great. We know Keith looks unhappy in the photo, but he was just tired from the lack of sleep. We were actually looking forward to be in the middle of the boat show excitement.

It looked like The Market was one of several restaurants clustered together.
