We puttered around the boat in the morning. <a href=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/2026\/05\/10\/snorkeling-at-warderick-wells-exuma-islands-the-bahamas\/\">Tiki Tour<\/a> had arrived yesterday afternoon, and we met them onshore at 1330 to go back to <a href=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/2026\/05\/12\/back-to-rachels-bubble-bath-on-compass-cay-exuma-islands-the-bahamas\/\">Rachel&#8217;s Bubble Bath<\/a>. This was looking back at Kosmos on the walk over to the Bubble Bath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_1060.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though the waves were smaller today than they had been <a href=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/2026\/05\/12\/back-to-rachels-bubble-bath-on-compass-cay-exuma-islands-the-bahamas\/\">yesterday,<\/a> the waves coming over the rock wall were better today because they were coming in from a better angle. Eric and the kids played in the waves for a long time and had a blast. Christi and the moms from Tiki all ventured in the waves, too, though they were in for a much short stint. They mostly sat along the edge and chatted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/waves-at-rachels-bubble-bath.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Christi climbed up on the rock wall above where the water poured in and got a few photos of the scenery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_1074.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This was the narrow strip between the channel and the ocean. If you look closely, you can see Kosmos at the end of the channel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_1079.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The inlet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_1080.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The ocean side of the shoreline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_1072.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once everyone had their fill of the bubble bath, we went back to our respective boats to shower and change. In the late afternoon, we met Tiki Tour onshore at one of the huts on the beach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_1142.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We built a small bonfire. Tiki had brought marshmallows, and the kids had fun toasting them. Some of the kids were more conscientious about the difference between &#8220;toast&#8221; and &#8220;charcoal&#8221; than others. Everyone had a nice time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_9770-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_6498.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the mosquitos came out, we quickly retreated to the protection of our respective boats,  returning just before sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_1152.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dusk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_1189.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dawn on Sunday, January 11 And the sunrise.
