We did our usual routine of school and chores in the morning, then puttered around the boat in the afternoon. We met Traveler<\/a> and Driftwood<\/a> at The Yacht Club<\/a> for drinks at 1715. They told us that the salvaged sailboat<\/a> had been sold! The new owners, who they said looked like teens, had moved it to the anchorage. At 1800, the rest of the party arrived and we all went over to Lorraine\u2019s High Tide<\/a> for dinner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The adults sat at one table, the kids at another. Christi had been the one to pick Lorraine’s and, because of the slow service, it was a bad choice. A few people got food at a time, and they’d be done eating before the next round of people got food. Of the 17 people in our group, Keith was the last person to be served. He got his food after everybody else had finished. One of the other moms had noticed Keith hadn’t been served and asked the waitress to make sure he got his food.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the slow service, we all still had nice time. We finished up the meal at 2000 and headed back to Kosmos. As we were leaving, we bumped into the new owners of the sailboat. They were teens — 18 and 19. One of the two used to live in Georgetown but lived in the US now. He’d heard about the boat for sale from a friend in Georgetown and decided to buy it with another buddy. Here was a shot of the full moon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full moon was still vibrant when we woke up on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After we finished our morning school and chores, we got Kosmos mostly ready to go to sea, then went to lunch at the Yacht Club. The albino shark<\/a> was swimming around. It rolled over and Eric saw that his tummy was white. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After lunch, we ran a couple errands. Lorraine\u2019s mom<\/a> was still not there, so no bread. We stopped by the market<\/a> for a few items. Here was a shot we took while walking around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then we went back to Kosmos, lifted the dinghy and pulled up anchor at 1400. The ride over to Big Majors<\/a> was uneventful. The other four families that had been in Blackpoint with us had also come to Big Majors, and we were the last to arrive, at about 1530. We dropped anchor behind another Nordhavn. We noticed there were several Nordys in the anchorage. Someone called us on the radio to let us know that the Norhavns were going to be getting together on Cruiser’s Beach <\/a>soon. We got dinghy down and Christi and Eric got ready to go to shore. Keith decided to stay onboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was nice. Christi and Eric saw two couples that we’d met last year at the photo shoot<\/a>. Eric saw the Nordhavn 40 owner that he\u2019d met last year at Yacht Tech<\/a>. Eric and Christi met lots of people, including the new owners of the Nordhavn 55 that we’d visited last year at Meeks Island<\/a>. Andrea and Erik from Traveler also stopped by. Here was the sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had dinner onboard. In the evening, we went over to Traveler and played cards with the other families. We had a blast and stayed out Iater than normal.\u00a0The moon was again amazingly bright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
