On Friday, October 14, we weren’t feeling much better. This time we didn’t emerge until the early evening. We went to shore and had dinner at Ana’s. The nachos were pretty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is Kosmos framed by one of the camping palapas outside of Ana’s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was only in the mid-80s, so after dinner, we decided to take advantage of the “cool” weather to take a walk. We followed the dirt road (which probably required a four-wheel drive) north to the peninsula. We were surprised that the road was lined on both sides with plants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Up close, it appeared to be three homes within a single walled compound. Also in the compound was a building that looked like it may house a generator, a large garage, a large grass hut, and some other structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opposite the homes, on the side of the peninsula that faced the outer part of Bahia Concepcion, was another campground with palapas at each site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is a photo of Eric and Keith walking back to the dinghy, taken near the housing compound. It was a nice view of the road and cove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we were onshore, the wind switched direction and picked up. So did the waves. We had a tough time launching the dinghy because the waves kept pushing us back into shore. Fortunately, some campers came and helped us launch. Kosmos was noticeably pitching, making disembarking the dinghy a bit challenging.
