On Wednesday, October 19, at 0730, we pulled up anchor and headed north. As the sun was rising on the west side of the cove, the east side glowed in the early morning light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we reached the mouth Bahia Concepcion, we rounded the corner into the Sea of Cortez, and headed south. The seas were calm. Overall it was a smooth and pleasant trip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

We neared Caleta San Juanico (AKA Ensenada San Basilio) at about 1600 (4:00 pm). It was a lovely little bay surrounded by dramatic hills, and the mouth was partially protected by several large rocks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only sign of civilization were three large, fancy houses clustered together on one of the hills overlooking the bay. The views from this homes must be incredible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were also several RVs on a small beach on the east side. As we puled in, Eric was sad to see that the best spots to anchor in, which were between two rocks, were already taken. We anchored near line of boats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are pleased to report that Keith seems to be 100% over his illness, and Eric finally seems to be on the mend. We are sad to report that the exhaust leak is back<\/a>. Eric is frustrated that the repair didn’t hold for long. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
