Diving the rock was even better than snorkeling it was. They saw an eel that was so big that it could be mistaken for a sea monster. The head was as big as a man\u2019s torso. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, the anchorage continued to rockier and more uncomfortable. In the afternoon, we went to shore briefly to get a reprieve from the motion. The other times we&#8217;d been to shore, the tide was relatively low; today the tide was higher and coming in. On <a href=\"https:\/\/kosmos.liveflux.net\/blog\/2022\/11\/20\/san-evaristo-to-ensenada-del-candelero-on-isla-espiritu-santo\/\">Day 1<\/a>, the pass between the two sides of the beach was dry. Today, the water was surprisingly deep.
