The crescent moon was visible during the sunrise on Friday, February 17<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, we were up earlier than usual to get the boat ready to go. We untied shortly after 0800. The ride was uncomfortable for the first two hours, as we were in head seas. The first shot of the industrial area between Playa Pichilingue <\/a>and Bahia Falsa<\/a>. The second shot is a zoom in of where we suspect the residue<\/a> in the air may be coming from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once got to the tip of the peninsula that protected La Paz from the rest of the Sea of Cortez, we turned west, passing Playa Tecolote<\/a>. The ride was a lot more comfortable once we were in beam seas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Saturday morning, it was quite calm as we went around Cabo Falso (the tip of Cabo San Lucas). We can’t believe that we are three<\/a> for three<\/a> in terms of having calm seas in a spot that was notorious for rough waters!
