Sadly, things did not work out with the editor we selected. Last week we found a new editor, and so far, things are progressing well with her. We are on track to have the book out in February (knock on wood). We have decided on a definite name for the book: “The Unexpected Circumnavigation: Unusual Boat, Unusual People Volume 1: San Diego to Australia”. We’ll keep you posted as things progress.

Kosmos is Greek for world. It is the name of our boat, and the scope of our travel ambitions.
Hummm, does this mean Australia next!?!
The book ends when we arrive in Australia. Book 2 opens with one of our favorite stories of all time involving checking into customs in Australia. We only posted 1/2 the customs story on the blog, so you have to wait for the book to hear the other — and funnier — half.

The Admiral was going to buy me the book for my birthday; hope it’s out soon! I have delayed my birthday until it is, which is obviously a good idea. Just wish it had been due about 15 years ago!!
