Exploring Annapolis, MD

Friday, October 10, 2025 — Today was another social day. Eric worked at the Ocean Posse booth at the boat show all day. For lunch, he got a pizza at The Market, which was really good. In the evening, he went to a party hosted by Lagoon (Lagoon was a catamaran manufacturer — all the Ocean Posse volunteers had been invited to their party).

After Christi and Keith finished school, they walked to the Post Office, which was a little more than a half mile northwest. The town was darling. Here were some photos taken along the way. This was Duke of Gloucester Street.

Duke of Gloucester Street ended at a roundabout with at least 5 spokes.

This was on one of the corners on the outside of the roundabout.

From the roundabout, we turned onto West Street, which was the street the post office was on.

After they mailed off their package, they went to a Mexican restaurant a few doors down for lunch.

As soon as they walked in, they knew this was going to be “real” Mexican food. And it was! We hadn’t had “real” Mexican in a long time, and it hit the spot. The portions were huge and the food was wonderful.

After lunch, we went to a park near the marina for a playdate with the three families from Tuesday: Blue Heeler, Tiki Tour and Atlas. Keith has really hit it off with those kids, and the adults have hit it off, as well. It’s always nice when everyone likes everyone. This was twilight.

Keith and Christi had a quiet night aboard. Eric didn’t get home all that late from the Lagoon party.
