San Diego was really fun. I got my braces off, and we visited friends and family. It was weird being back in San Diego, especially the part where we couldn’t go to the boat. We took a red eye back to Panama on Friday (we got here on Saturday). 

San Diego était tres amusant. J’ai enlevé mes bagues, et nous avons rendu visite à des amis et à la famille. C’était étrange d’être de retour à San Diego, surtout la parti où on ne pouvait pas aller au bateau. On a pris un vol de nuit pour retourner au Panama le vendredi (on est arrivé Samedi). 

This week has been uneventful. We tried to catch up on school and walked around the jungle a bunch, visiting the old military ruins. On one of the visits I decided to go back to the boat because the ruins/jungle were creepy, and mom and dad were gone for so long I started to worry. 

Nous n’avons pas fait beaucoup de choses cette semaine. On a essayé de rattraper notre retard de l’école. On a marché dans la jungle et visité des anciennes ruines militaires. Une des ruines était flippante donc je suis retourné au bateau, et maman et papa sont partis pendant très longtemps donc j’ai commencé à m’inquiéter.

We have played D&D a few times. In D&D, there was a new kid named Charlie. She only spoke french, and her friend Ttitouan isn’t very good with English, so I had to translate for Charlie. It was hard, but I managed.

On a joué à donjons et dragons. Il y a un nouvel enfant qui s’apelle Charlie. Elle pouvait juste parler français, et son ami Titouan n’était pas très bon en englais, donc j’ai du traduire pour Charlie. C’était dificile, mais j’ai réussi. 

We thought one of our friends was going to leave, so on Wednesday, we had a going away dinner with them. But the water was turned off at all the docks and their water maker was broken, so they decided to stay for a bit longer. They fixed the water on Thursday, but it was too late for our friends to go. Today they decided not to go because their depth-sounder was broken. 

On croyait qu’un de nos amis allait partir, donc mercredi nous avons fait un dinner de départ avec eux. Mais l’eau ne fonctionnait pas dans la marina et leur purificateur d’eau était cassé, donc ils ont décidé de rester un petit peu plus longtemps. Le marina a réparé l’eau Jeudi, mais c’etait trop tard pour qu’ils puissent partir. Aujourd’hui ils ont décidé de ne pas partir parce que leur sondeur de profondeur était cassé.
