Tuesday, February 3 – The weather forecast for today indicated that it would finally be calm enough to move from the very protected nook in Crab Cay to the main anchorage area in Elizabeth Harbour. He anchored by the Peace and Plenty resort on Stocking Island (which was owned by the same company that owns the Peace and Plenty hotel and restaurant in Georgetown).

When Kosmos arrived, there was lots of space in the anchorage, but as the day progressed, more boats arrived and the anchorage area filled in.

Eric and Keith went to lunch at the Snappy Turtle. After being stuck onboard for the last three days, they were happy to be on land. After lunch, they headed over to Chat N Chill, where Keith played volleyball with the other kids.

They headed back to Kosmos for dinner. Tiki Tour had arrived in Elizabeth Harbour today and had anchored near Kosmos. After dinner, they went over to Tiki Tour for a visit. Here was the dusk.

Sunrise on Wednesday.

After morning chores and school, Eric and Keith went to the beach cafe at the Peace and Plenty Resort for lunch. They had really enjoyed the meal they’d had at the restaurant in Georgetown, but were disappointed with the beach cafe. The menu was more in line with standard Bahamian fare, the service was very slow, and the food taste was mediocre. They saw this Egret walking on shore.

After lunch, they met up with several other families at the Coconut Club. The adults hung out and talked in the restaurant area and the kids played on the various toys. Everyone had a nice time. The Coconut Club closed at 1800, and the group stayed after closing until they were kicked off the property. Keith and Eric headed back to Kosmos for the night.
