December 6 – December 12, 2025 — This week has been very boring. On Saturday, we moved from Royal Island to Highbourne Cay. On Sunday, we moved from Highbourne Cay to Staniel Cay. 

On Monday, the anchorage was rolly. Dad and I went to shore to get some lunch, but Mom stayed on board because she had some sort of important call thingy to do. Because the currents were so strong, we had to go around the back of the island for a more comfortable ride. We went through this really narrow pass. When we tried to get back to the boat, we couldn’t get through the pass because the currents were so strong! We had to wait around on a beach for what felt like a billion years. Eventually, some French charterers came over and they towed us through the pass with their fast dinghy. 

Cette semaine était très ennuyante. Samedi, nous sommes partis de Royal Island et allés à Highbourne Cay. Dimanche, nous sommes allés Staniel Cay. Lundi, il y avait beaucoup de roulisroullies. Papa et moi sommes allés à terre pour manger le déjeuner, mais maman est resté sur le bateau parce que elle avait un important appel à passer. Comme le courant était trop fort, on devait passer par l’arrière de l’ile. Nous sommes allés dans un passage très étroit. On essayait de retourner au bateau, mais on ne pouvait pas passer parce que le courant etait trop fort! On devait rester sur la plage pour un long temps. Des personnes françaises sont venues et nous ont tiré avec leur cannot rapide. 

On Tuesday, we went to shore to get some dinner. On Wednesday, we went back to shore for lunch and to get groceries. We had a really hard time getting there because the currents were very strong. 

Mardi, nous sommes alléses à terre pour manger le dîner. Mercredi, nous sommes revenus à terre pour le dejeuner et les courses. C’était très difficile d’y aller parce que le courant était très fort. 

On Thursday, we did absolutely nothing. On Friday, we did the only fun thing of the week, which was go to the Grotto. The current was stronger than last time we went. After the Grotto we moved to Black Point. 

Jeudi, on a rien fait. Vendredi, on a fait la seule chose amusante de la semaine : aller au Grotto. Le courant était plus fort que la dernière fois où on y a été. Apres le grotto, nous sommes allés à black point.
