Lying Low in Big Major/Staniel, Exuma Islands, The Bahamas

Dawn on Saturday, March 14

This morning, Eric made French toast for breakfast. Since our attempts at buying groceries yesterday failed, we tried again today. We brought Fynn from Tiki Tour with us.

Before going to the store, we went to the Yacht Club for lunch. The kids played pool while we waited for our food.

Lunch

After lunch, we walked to the pink market. We were relieved to see that they had unpacked yesterday’s shipment and had everything in stock that we’d hoped to buy. After shopping, we went back to Kosmos. Christi unpacked the groceries. Eric and Keith picked up their D & D gear and were right back out the door. They went over to March Dragon for a D & D session.

The anchorage got rollier as the day went on and we all became increasingly more lethargic. It was a quiet evening.

On Sunday, it was rolly again. We were lethargic and had a mellow day. Keith went to a sand bar with Tiki Tour in the early afternoon. There were still a lot of Nordhavns in the anchorage, and in evening, Eric and Christi went over to Na’Vana for a Nordhavn happy hour. Some of the attendees had been at the get together a couple of weeks ago, but there were some people who we hadn’t met before. Our friends on Algonquin had arrived in the anchorage shortly before the gathering began, and it was nice to see them again.
