Saturday, March 28 – Frida, April 3 — This week has been mostly boring. On Saturday, we arrived in Florida. We anchored, then went to shore. We got some Mexican food, then we went back to the boat to rest. On Sunday, we went out to breakfast with some of my parent’s friends. I got chilaquiles and a blueberry pancake. They were both really good. We then went to Dad’s cousin’s house. We talked with them for a while, then we borrowed one of their cars. We went to a grocery store, then parked near the dinghy dock and went back to the boat. The dinghy ride back to the boat was brutal, we got soaked.

Cette semaine étaitetait plutôt ennuyante. Samedi, nous sommes arrivé en Floride. On a ancré le bateau, puis nous sommes allés à terre. On a mangé de la nourriture mexicainen, puis on est retourné au bateau pour se reposer. Dimanche, nous avons mangé le petit déjeuner avec des amis de mes parents. J’ai mangé des chilaquiles et un pancake aux myrtilles. C’était très bon. Après ça nous sommes allés à la maison du cousin de papa. On a parlé avec eux pour un temps, puis emprunté une de leurs voitures. Nous sommes allés faire les courses, puis retournés au bateau. Le voyage au bateau était brutal, on était très mouillé. 

On Monday, we went to a mall. We got me a new keyboard (my old one broke), Mom got a new phone case and Dad got his glasses fixed. We went to a really good Mexican restaurant called Toror’s for dinner. On Tuesday, we drove to a book store to get me some new D&D books. We didn’t get all the ones I wanted, but we got the two most important ones. We ate lunch at a Greek restaurant. We went to Target and got some more carbonation cartridges. 

Lundi, nous sommes allés au centre commercial. Je me suis acheté un nouveau clavier (mon ancien s’est cassé), maman a acheté une coque de téléphone et papa a réparé ses lunettes. Nous avons mangé à un très bon restaurant Mexicain pour le dîner. Mardi, nous sommes allés à la librairie pour acheter de nouveaux livres de D&D. On n’a pas acheté tous les livres que je voulais, mais on a acheté les deux plus importants. On a mangé le déjeuner dans un restaurant Grec. Nous sommes allés à target pour acheter des nouvelles cartouches de gaz pour l’eau. 

On Wednesday, we moved to Old Port Cove Marina. Dad’s cousin and his wife had dinner with us at the marina restaurant. On Thursday, we went to Fort Lauderdale by car to visit Tiki Tour. We went to a state park and got ice cream. On Friday, we didn’t do much. 

Mercredi, nous sommes allés à Old Port Cove Marina. Le cousin de papa et sa femme ont mangé le dîner avec nous au restaurant de la marina. Jeudi, nous sommes allés à Fort Lauderdale en voiture pour voir Tiki Tour. On est allés à un state parc, puis manger des glaces. Vendredi, on a rien fait.
