Playa Pichilingue is nice. There is a beach with two restaurants and a road to La Paz. There is also a dock, but it is broken. The tide swings were so huge that at high tide the water went up to my waist at the broken end of the dock, but Dad carried me.

Playa Pichilingue est bien. Il y a une plage avec deux restaurants et une route pour La Paz. Il y a aussi un ponton, mais il est cassé. Les marées étaient tellement grosse qu’à marée haute l’eau montait jusqu’à ma taille à la fin du ponton, et papa a dû me porter.

And at low tide, the dock was almost too tall for us to realistically get on!

Et à marée basse, le ponton était trop haut pour qu’on puisse monter dessus de façon réaliste. 

Oceananigans was there, but some of the crew were gone. The kids were at their grandma’s house. Then the rest of the crew left, and we watched their boat. Then some of the crew came back after Thanksgiving. Then we left. 

Oceananigans était là, mais une partie de l’équipage était parti. Les enfants étaient à la maison de leurs grands-mères. Après le reste de l’équipage est parti et nous avons surveillé le bateau. Après une partie de l’équipage est revenu après Thanksgiving. Après nous sommes partis. 

Ensenada Grande on the island of Espirtu Santo was okay. It had a nice beach. I met some kids there and we hit it off. So that was fun.

Ensenada Grande sur l’île d’Espirtu Santo était ok. Il y avait une super plage. J’ai rencontré des enfants et nous sommes devenus amis. Et ça c’était amusant.

We went on a hike, and I had to jump from rock to rock. There was a place on the hike where there was a pond inside a small valley. I jumped into the valley near the pond, and found out it was full of wasps!!!

Nous sommes allés faire une promenade, et j’ai dû sauter de rocher en rocher. Il y avait un endroit pendant la promenade, entre deux rochers, qui avait une énorme flaque d’eau. J’ai sauté dans le trou à côté de la flaque d’eau, et j’ai découvert que c’était plein de guêpes!
