This week has been interesting. Saturday we went to an old Spanish fort. It was destroyed and rebuilt three times! It was really hot that day, and I wanted to go back pretty soon. 

Cette semaine était intéressante. Samedi on a vu un ancien chateau fort espagnol. Il a été cassé et re-construit trois fois! Il faisait très chaud ce jour là, et je voulais rentrer très vite.

Sunday we just lazed around, and Monday Mom and I went to town and bought groceries. Dad had a dentist appointment, so he couldn’t come to the store. After that we went to the pool with two of my friends. One of them was going to leave on Tuesday, so that was kind of his going away party. 

Dimanche on a rien fait, et Lundi maman et moi on a fait les courses. Papa avait un rendez vous chez le dentiste, donc il ne pouvait pas aller au supermarché. Après ça je suis allé à la piscine avec deux de mes amis. Un de mes amis devait partir mardi, donc c’était comme sa fête de départ. 

Tuesday mom and I went on a walk in the jungle. On Wednesday we did D&D, then went on a nature walk. It started out okay, and we got to learn some interesting history. But then we actually went in the jungle to go to this old military battery. But it got even worse when we went inside the battery. It was dark and scary, and there were cockroaches everywhere! It was awful.

Mardi on a fait un tour dans la jungle. Merdredi on a joué à Donjons et Dragons, et après on a fait un tour dans la nature. Ça a bien commencé, et nous avons appris des histoires intéressantes. Mais après on a vraiment marché dans le jungle pour aller à une ancienne base militaire. Mais c’est a encore plus empiré quand on est allé dans le base. C’était très noir et effrayant. Il y avait des cafards partout. C’était horrible. 

On Thursday we flipped the boat around in the slip, then did D&D. After that we had dinner with some friends from Baja. Then we played Civilization VI as part of a gaming group dad is hosting. 

Jeudi on a tourné le bateau, et après ça on a joué à donjons et dragons. Après avoir joué à donjons et dragons on a mangé le dîner avec des amis de Baja. Apres dîner, on a joué à Civilization VI avec un groupe de jeu que papa a organisé. 

On Friday we went to the visitor center for the Gatun locks. It was boring; all we did was watch some boring Spanish movie about the history of the canal and watched a big ship go through the locks. Once we left the visitor center, we went to the pool and I hung out with some cruiser kids. 

Vendredi on a visité l’office du tourisme des écluses de Gatun. C’était très ennuyant, on a juste regardé un film en espanol qui parlait de l’hitoire du canal. On a aussi regardé des bateaux aller dans le canal. Après être parti des écluses, Je suis allé à la piscine avec mes amis.
