This week has been so awesome! On Saturday, we went to Stoney’s for lunch, then we had our friends from Bigger Boat over for D&D. After that we went to a Latino festival, then we went to a place called Insomnia Cookies and got dessert. The cookies weren’t anything special. 

Cette semaine était trop géniale! Samedi nous avons mangé à Stoney’s pour le déjeuner, puis nos amis de bigger boat sont venus pour jouer à donjons et dragons. Après ça nous sommes allés à un festival Latino, puis avons mangé à un restaurant qui s’appelle Insomnia Cookies pour le dessert. Les cookies n’avaient rien de special. 

On Sunday, Dad and I played D&D over at Miss Roxy’s house. It was a super crazy session. Aubrey  and I both died! Guy survived at one health! After D&D, we went to another one of those murder mystery shows, which was superhero themed this time. Mom and I were both prime suspects, but the show had a twist at the end that was kinda weird. After the mystery was solved, all of the kids had to find the lair of the supervillain, and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo majorly cringe. It was meant for toddlers, because they literally told us the answer in one of the announcements. After that we ate at a Mexican food restaurant with mom’s friends and we went to an ice cream place for dessert. 

Dimanche papa et moi avons joué à donjons et dragons à la maison de Miss Roxy. C’était une session très dingue. Aubrey et moi sommes morts! Guy a survi avec un point de vie! Après D&D, nous sommes allés à un autre spectacle sur un meurtre mystérieux, qui était sur le theme du superhero. Maman et moi étions des suspets principaux, mais il y avait un rebondissement à la fin qui était plutôt bizarre. Une fois le mystère résolu, tous les enfants devaient trouver le repère du méchant et c’était trops ringard. C’était pour des petits parce qu’il a littéralement donné la réponse dans une des pubs. Après ça nous avons mangé à un restaurant Mexicain avec un des amis de maman, puis on a mangé une glace pour le dessert. 

On Monday, I finished my science project so I am finished with 7th grade (except for a little bit of grading mom has to do). On Tuesday, Dad and I flew to San Diego. The first flight was great, we had a row all to ourselves! We stopped at the Denver airport, which is the coolest airport ever. The second flight got super delayed, but we managed to get on an earlier flight for free because the other flight was delayed so much. We had a row all to ourselves on the second flight, too. 

Lundi j’ai fini mon projet de sciences, donc j’ai fini avec la cinquième (Sauf que maman doit encore noter quelques devoirs). Mardi papa et moi avons  volé vers San Diego. Le premier vol était fantastique, on avait tout le rang pour nous! On s’est arrêté à l’aéroport de Denver, qui était le meilleur aéroport au monde. Le deuxième vol était très retardé, mais nous on a réussi à partir sur un vol qui décollait plus tôt gratuitement parce que l’autre vol était vraiment trop en retard. On avait tout le rang pour nous sur l’autre vol aussi. 

On Wednesday, we picked up our Comicon passes with my friend Heath. On Thursday and Friday we went to Comicon. 

Mercredi nous sommes allés chercher nos passes de Comicon avec mon ami Heath. Jeudi et Vendredi nous sommes allés à la comicon. 

On Thursday, we did a lot. We first went to a panel where people played D&D with a special modification called Wild Space, which was Sci-Fi themed. It was hilarious. After that panel, we explored the show floor, then we went to a panel on world building with my favorite author there, Matt Diniman. At least 80% of the people were there to see him. After the panel we went to get my book signed by Matt Diniman. I feel bad for the other authors. There were probably 100-200 hundred people wanting to get their book signed by Matt Diniman, and there were maybe five or six total people at the other authors tables. 

Jeudi on a fait beaucoup de choses. Premièrement nous sommes allés à un panel où des personnes ont joué à D&D avec une modification spéciale qui s’appelle Wild Space, qui est sur un theme de science fiction. C’était trop rigolo. Après ce panel on a exploré l’étage des stands, puis nous sommes allés à un panel sur contruire un monde avec mon auteur préféré, Matt Diniman. 80% des personnes était là pour le voir. Après le panel nous sommes allés faire signer mon livre par Matt Diniman. Je me sent mal pour les autres auteurs parce qu’il y avait 100-200 personnes pour faire signer leur livre par Matt Diniman, mais il y avait 5-6 personnes pour voir les autres auteurs. 

On Friday, we went to another D&D session, which was wrestling themed this time. We stayed extra late because Heath wanted to see a panel by some people called Glitch Productions. I had no clue who those people were, but I guess they were quite popular because the room was packed. 

Vendredi nous sommes allés à une autre session de D&D qui était sur le thème de la lutte. On est resté très longtemps parce que Heath voulait voir un panel par des personnes qui s’appellent Glitch Productions. Je ne savais pas qui étaient ces personnes, mais je suppose qu’elles étaient populaires parce que la pièce était pleine.
