This week has been fun. On Saturday, we walked to the bakery, then did D&D, then went back to the restaurant on the beach that we liked for dinner with a bunch of my friends. 

Cette semaine était amusante. Samedi on a marché jusqu’à une boulangerie, joué à Donjons et Dragons, et mangé au restaurant qu’on aime sur la plage pour dîner avec mes amis.

On Sunday, we moved to a place called Fernandez Bay. It was kind of uncomfortable. Everyone else decided to go snorkeling, but instead mom dad and I cruised around this little estuary. On the ride back I was tired, so I fell asleep with my head on the side of the dinghy. But when I woke up, I had the grippy print on my face. After we got back we played D&D aboard a different boat than usual. After dinner we went to Hasteaway and just hung out until 11:45. By the time we got back, dad decided to get the dinghy up, which wasn’t fun in the dark. 

Dimanche on est parti pour un endroit qui s’appelle Fernandez Bay. C’était un peu inconfortable. Tout le monde a décidé de partir plonger, mais maman, papa et moi avons décidé de nous promener en bateau dans l’estuaire. Sur le chemin du retour j’étais très fatigué, donc je me suis endormi avec ma tête sur le côté du radeau. Mais quand je me suis levé j’avais la surface adhérente imprimée sur mon visage. Apres qu’on soit revenu nous avons joué à Donjons Et Dragons sur un bateau différent de d’habitude. Après le dîner nous sommes allés sur Hasteaway et resté ensemble. Quand nous sommes revenus, papa a décidé de remonter le radeau, ce qui n’était pas amusant dans la nuit.

On Monday, we split ways with my main friend group. Us and Hasteaway went to a place called Poison Point. There were already a two kid boats there. On Tuesday, we did our normal routine, then went to a shallow spot next to the beach with a bunch of paddle boards and our floating platform. We played around for a while, and the highlight was when we got into a wrestling match to see who could push each other off the platform. 

Lundi on s’est séparé avec mon groupe d’amis. Hasteaway et nous, on est parti a un endroit qui s’appelait Poison Point. Il y avait déjà deux bateaux avec des enfants qui était là. Mardi on a fait notre routine habituelle et on est allé à un endroit pas profond proche de la plage avec beacoup de paddles et un ponton. On a joué pendant un temps, et la meilleure partie c’était quand on a fait un combat pour voir qui pouvait faire tomber l’autre du ponton. 

Wednesday, we went to a place called Rock Sound, which took about a half-hour. Hasteaway invited us over to have some crab dip, which they cooked using fresh crabs they had caught themselves. I just tried it to be polite, but it was amazing! 

Mercredi on est parti à un endroit qui s’appelle Rock Sound, le voyage a pris une demi-heure. Hasteaway nous a invité pour manger du crabe dip qu’ils ont fait avec des crabes qu’ils ont attrapé eux même. J’ai juste essayé pour être poli, mais c’était trop bon! 

On Thursday, we were going to go to town, but our dinghy was too slow, so we hitched a ride. We ate at this place called the Wild Orchid, then walked over to this cool cave next to a cenote (aka a blue hole). The cave was okay, but there were bats that scared the living daylights out of me the first time I heard them. We also went to this place called Pink-Sand Beach, but it wasn’t really pink sand unless you wanted to walk to the very end of the beach. Us kids just played around for a while. 

Jeudi on a décidé d’aller au village, mais le radeau était trop lent, donc nous avons fait du stop. On a mangé a un restaurant qui s’appelle Wild Orchid et marché à une grotte qui était proche d’une cénote. Le grotte était ok, mais il y avait des chauve-souris qui m’ont terrorisé la première fois que je les ai entendu. On est aussi allé à la plage de sable rose, mais le sable n’était pas vraiment rose sauf si tu marchais jusqu’à la fin de la plage. Mes amis et moi, avons joué pendant un petit temps. 

On Friday, we hitched a ride to town again. We were going to eat at this restaurant, but they used black pepper in everything. The second place was really small and had a bunch of flies in it. We ate at the third place, which had pretty good food. After we were done eating the rest of the kids went out to play basketball in the dark, but I decided to not go with them, since the basketball court was kind of far away. But, when the parents decided to stage a picture, they made me join anyways. 

Vendredi on a fait du stop pour aller au village. On voulait manger à un restaurant, mais ils utilisaient du poivres dans tous les plats. La deuxième place était petite et il y avait beaucoup de mouches. On a mangé au troisième restaurant, qui avait de la bonne nourriture. Après manger les autres enfants voulaient jouer au basketball dans le noir, mais j’ai décidé de ne pas jouer parce que le terrain de basketball était loin du restaurant. Mais quand les parents ont décidé de nous mettre en scène pour une photo, ils ont dit que je devais me joindre à la photo.
