This week has been fun. On Saturday, we went to the marina pool.
Cette semaine était amusante. Samedi nous sommes allés à la aupiscine de marina.
On Sunday, we went to Washington DC by car just for the day. We saw a few of the monuments, and they were kind of boring. I learned that The Jefferson Monument is pretty far from the most popular monuments. We didn’t see the whole loop because dad and I were hungry and it was a long walk. After the monuments, we ate at a Shake Shack close to the marina that we’re going to stay in while we’re in DC.
Dimanche nous sommes alléses à Washington DC en voiture. On a vu des monuments et ils étaient plutôt ennuyant. J’ai appris que le monument de Jefferson était très loin des monuments populaires. Nous n’avons pas vu toute la boucle parce que papa et moi avions faim et c’était un longue promenade. Après les monuments nous avons mangé à un Shake Shack proche de le marina où on va rester à DC.
On Monday, I did some chores. Mom was baking some chocolate banana-chip bars. She took them out of the oven and burned herself and dropped the pan face down on the carpet. From my point of view I was playing video games in the pilot house, then I heard a scream, then wailing. Dad didn’t even notice.
Lundi, j’ai fait des corvéescorvees. Maman cuisinait des barres banana et pepites de chocolat. Elle les a sorties du four, et elle s’est brûlée et elle a fait tomber la plaque à l’envers sur la moquette. De mon point de vu je jouais à des jeux videos dans la cabine de pilotage, puis j’ai entendu des cris, puis des lamentations. Papa n’a rien entendu.
On Tuesday, I did more chores. After went to the Washington Memorial here in Baltimore, then we went to a big park.
Mardi nous avonsAvons fait des corvées. Après ça nous sommes allés au Washington Memorial qui est dans Baltimore, puis nous sommes allés à un grand parc.
On Wednesday, we went to a place called The Museum Of Industry. It was quite interesting, and we took a tour where we learned about how black people made a difference in Baltimore. I learned that old sewing machines were loud and clothing makers often lost their hearing.
Mercredi nous sommes allésalles au musée de l’industrie. C’était plutôt intéressante, et nous avons fait une visite sur comment les personnes de couleurs ont fait une difference à Baltimore. J’ai appris que le anciennes machines à coudre étaient très bruyantes et les personnes qui fabriquaient les vêtements perdaient souvent l’audition.
On Thursday, we woke up early in the morning and flew to San Diego. We were in San Diego for two weeks. While we were there we saw friends and family, went to The Museum Of Illusions twice, went to the Air and Space Museum and got lots of chores done. We flew back on Thursday, September 11th.
Jeudi, nous nous sommes réveillés tôt et nous avons volé à San Diego. Nous étionsetes à San Diego pendant deux semaines. Quand nous étions là bas nous avons vu des amis et de la famille, nous sommes allés au musée de l’illusion deux fois et allés au musée de l’aviation et de l’espace et fait beaucoup de corvées. Nous sommes rentrés au bateau le jeudi 11 septembre.
On Friday, we went to the Baltimore Aquarium, which is really called The National Aquarium. It was really cool, and they had more than just fish. I learned that moon jellies have stingers, but they can’t sting humans because we’re too big to be hurt by their little stingers.
Vendredi nous sommes allés à l’aquarium de Baltimore, qui vraiment s’appelle l’aquarium national. C’était très cool, et il y avait plus que juste poissons. J’ai appris que les méduses lunes ont des dards, mais elles ne peuvent pas piquer des humains parce que nous sommes trop grands pour être blessés par leurs petits dards.
