Saturday, March 21 – Friday, March 27 — This week has been bittersweet. On Saturday, Tiki Tour, Zimovia and us decided to go to Little Bell Cay, but midway they changed their plans to go to Compass Cay. We did not want to go there. Instead we went to Samson Cay, but Tiki Tour and Zimovia decided the anchorage was too rough at Compass, so they went to Little Bell after all. 

Cette semaine est aigre-douce. Samedi, Tiki Tour, Zimovia et nous avons décidé d’aller à Little Bell Cay, mais ils ont décidé de changer leurs plans et d’aller à Compass Key. On ne voulait pas y aller. À la place, on a décidé d’aller à Sampson Cay, mais Tiki Tour et Zimovia ont décidé qu’il y avait trop de roulis à Compass, donc ils sont allés à Little Bell après tout. 

On Sunday, we went to Compass Cay in the morning. Tiki arrived shortly after, and we went to Rachel’s Bubble Bath with them. The Bubble Bath was insane! The waves were so big that you couldn’t get close to the rocks because you would get smushed! After we came back from the Bubble Bath, I took a shower, ate some lunch, then went over to Tiki Tour. I went with them to Staniel, then I went tubing with some of their friends and them. After that, Mom, Dad and I went over to March Dragon for cards. 

Dimanche matin, nous sommes allés à Compass Cay. Tiki est arrivé pas longtemps après, et nous sommes allés au bubble bath avec eux. Le bubble bath était fou! Les vagues étaient si grandes que tu ne pouvais pas approcher des rochers parce que c’était dangereux. Après le bubble bath, j’ai pris une douche, j’ai mangé le déjeuner, puis je suis allé sur Tiki Tour. Nous sommes allés à Staniel, puis nous sommes allés tubing avec Tiki Tour et leurs amis. Après ça, Maman, Papa et moi sommes allés sur March Dragon pour jouer aux cartes. 

On Monday, we moved closer to the town, then we went to the yacht club for lunch. We then returned to the yacht club for dinner with Tiki Tour. I played pool and walked around with them.

Lundi, nous nous sommes déplacés près du village, puis nous sommes allés au yacht club pour déjeuner. On est retourné au yacht club pour dîner avec Tiki Tour. J’ai joué au billard et je me suis promené avec eux. 

On Tuesday, we woke up early to see Keira off at the airport. She was flying away for three weeks. After we got back to the boat, we headed to The Aquarium, which is supposed to be a really cool snorkel spot. There were a ton of fish, but the coral was still boring. After we got back from the Aquarium, we went to Norman’s Cay for the night. 

Mardi, on s’est réveillé tôt pour voir Keira partir. Elle fait un voyage de trois semaines. Après être retourné au bateau, on est allé à un endroit qui s’appelle L’Aquarium, qui est censé être un très bon endroit pour faire de la plongée. Il y avait beaucoup de poissons, mais le corail n’avait pas de couleur. Apres qu’on soit revenu de l’Aquarium, nous sommes allés a Norman’s Cay pour le soir. 

On Wednesday, we went to an anchorage at Nassau. On Thursday, we went to shore and rented a car. We went to a restaurant called The Social Club, and it was amazing. We got this exquisite appetizer that Mom and Dad said was similar to a snack called “Corn Nuts,” which I had never heard of. I got the best chicken I had ever had in my life, and I got an amazing chocolate lava cake for dessert. Afterwards, we went to a grocery store and got snacks for the passage. On Friday, we left for Florida. I was very seasick in the beginning, but it calmed down and I felt better. 

Mercredi, nous sommes allés à un ancrage à Nassau. Jeudi, nous sommes allés à terre et on a loué une voiture. On a mangé à un restaurant qui s’appelle Le Social Club, et c’était trop bon. On a mangé une délicieuse entrée, Papa et Mamant ont dit que ça ressemblait à quelque chose qui s’appelle “Corn Nuts,” que je ne connaissais pas. J’ai mangé le meilleur poulet de toute ma vie, et j’ai aussi mangé un très bon gateau au chocolat pour le dessert. Après ça nous sommes allés faire des courses et acheté des snacks pour le voyage. Vendredi, nous sommes partis pour la Floride. J’avais le mal de mer au début, mais l’océan s’est calmé et je me suis senti mieux.
