We spent Sunday, October 23 doing chores and visiting with the other cruisers in the anchorage. Our neighbor on Stray Cat had to climb his mast, and while he was up there, he took some pictures of us and the anchorage.

I liked Caleta San Juanico. We snorkeled and played at the beach. We went on a hike, and a burro followed us. Dad and mom talked with the other boaters.

Sunrise on Saturday, October 22. The crescent moon was again shining brilliantly as the sun rose under it.
Eric was pleased to report that he was now 100% back to normal. In the morning, we went for a hike. We were hoping to complete our hike before it got hot. We landed the dinghy on the beach where the RVs were. Here are a couple shots of the anchorage taken from a couple of different spots on the beach.
One of the campers pointed out there was a turtle nest. Some environmentalists had covered and marked it to protect the eggs from being stepped on/dug up by other animals. She said the environmentalists came daily to check on it.

Sunrise on Friday, October 21. The crescent moon shone brightly even as the sun rose underneath it.
This morning, one of the neighbors in the anchorage filled our scuba tanks. What a relief that we can do the bottom again!
It was wavier on Friday than it had been on Thursday, and the anchorage was a little less comfortable. In the afternoon, we went snorkeling. We decided it was too wavy to be safe to snorkel in the best spot that we’d scoped out, the north-eastern rock, as it was exposed to the open waves. We opted to go to the northwestern rock. Look at the birds hanging out on the cactus on the rock.

In the morning, we did our usual school/chores routine. In the afternoon, we took a dinghy ride to scope out the area.
