Keith’s Perspective on Our Third Trips to La Paz and Ensenada del Candelero/Le point de vue de Keith sur nos troisièmes voyages à La Paz et Ensenada del CandeleroKeith’s Perspective on our Third Trips to La Paz and Ensenada del Candelero/

I had a good time in our last trip to La Paz. Not much to report, just talking to boat people, going shopping, and eating out. I had a huge burger with double everything, and then a cookies ’n  cream milkshake after that. We went to a whale museum. I almost lost my breakfast when the guide showed me dolphin organs. I also played with Oceananigans, Double Deuce, and Sirena. I also met a new boat kid named Jackson.

I had a lot of fun in Ensenada Candelero, too. There were a bunch of kids. We played Hide and Seek in hills where the hike is. I fell. We played D&D, and that was fun.

The estuary in Ensenada del Candelero was mostly dry!

Caleta Partida is nice. It has some really shallow parts… The anchorage is made of two islands! There is a mud flat. It’s stinky and when walking with shoes, the shoes get swallowed up by the mud. There were no cruiser kids.

Keith’s Perspective on Playa Pichilingue and Ensenada Grande/Le point de vue de Keith sur Playa Pichilingue et Ensenada Grande

Playa Pichilingue is nice. There is a beach with two restaurants and a road to La Paz. There is also a dock, but it is broken. The tide swings were so huge that at high tide the water went up to my waist at the broken end of the dock, but Dad carried me.

I loved Isla Espirtu Santo!!! It is awesome! There is a great hike. It has a bunch of rocks; I had to jump from one to another!

Keith’s Perspective on Isla San Francisco and San Evaristo/Le point de vue de Keith sur Isla San Francisco et San Evaristo

I disliked Isla San Francisco. There were a bunch of bugs! They went for our faces! The bugs were everywhere; on land and on the boat. We went on a hike, but it was horrible because the bugs attacked us! The anchorage was very lumpy! That’s the reason we never went swimming! There was also a full lunar eclipse. Mom tells me it’s very rare! It looked cool enough. Though, I wasn’t ready to wake up!
