Keith’s Perspective on His Birthday Week/Le point de vue de Keith sur la semaine de son anniversaire

Saturday, March 7 – Friday, March 13 — This week has been fun. On Saturday, we taught March Dragon and the boy from Driftwood, Jake, how to play D&D. In the evening we went over to Traveler. On Sunday, Tiki Tour anchored in a different part of Staniel. We did a D&D session with March Dragon, then all the teens (including Tiki) went over to the beach. 

Cette semaine était amusante. Samedi, on a appris D&D à a March Dragon et au garçon de Driftwood, Jake. Dans la soirée, nous sommes allés sur Traveler. Dimanche, Tiki Tour s’est ancré  dans une autre partie de Staniel. On a fait une session de D&D avec March Dragon, puis tous les ados sont allés à la plage.

Eric and Christi woke up totally covered in big bites from the beach yesterday. Christi had been wearing shorts, and most of her bites were on her legs, with a few on her arms. Eric was wearing pants and socks, and he had a lot of bites on his arms and a few on the strip of skin between his pant and sock edges. Keith didn’t have many since he’d been in the water most of the time.

This morning, the bow of the boat changed directions several times as the winds shifted, and the anchorage got a bit rolly. Eric put out the port flopper stopper as he said the discomfort would likely get worse. It also rained a little bit, but not enough to give Kosmos a decent rinse down. She’s getting icky, so we hope it rains soon.

We went to shore after Christi and Keith finished school. We keep forgetting to mention the sunken boat. It has deteriorate badly from when we first reported on it in April 2025. The whole top part that was sticking out of the water is gone and it looks like the hull will come apart any day now.

Yesterday morning, Tiki Tour arrived in the anchorage. After all the kids had finished school, the other four families took their dinghies to Rachel’s Bubble Bath. Keith tagged along with them. Eric and Christi stayed aboard Kosmos. They worked on getting things ready for Keith’s upcoming birthday party, including baking more cupcakes. Christi also worked on her land life project, and was thrilled about accomplishing something important (or so she thought). It felt like the anchorage was a bit rollier today than it had been yesterday.
